National Women Coordinator PCRC urges Women to assist Police by giving relevant information

The National women coordinator of police community relation committee PCRC Barrister Maimuna Sheriff has urged women to assist the police by giving relevant information to enable them reduce crime rate in the country.

She was Speaking during a town hall meeting held at gwagwalada in the federal Capita territory Abuja.

The coordinator reiterated the need to expose criminal elements in the security,hence the importance of mothers to instill good morals in their wards.

Speaking the Magaji Gwagwalada Mohammed Yunusa Idris described women as good information gathering and stressed proactive measurements in reducing crime rate.

Patron of PCRC gwagwalada Area Command, Justice Balami Mwado called on government to properly utilized security votes, especially when the community failed to give creditable information in reducing crime.

In a good will message from the National chairman of police community relation committee, PCRC Ibrahim Magaji expressed appreciation to women for their role in curtaining crime in the society.

In her welcome address, coordinator women committee, Patient Ardey discussed on National Building, peace and security in all communities, and urged women to do more in ensuring that there is conducive atmosphere for people to live.

There was a paper presentation by inspector Amenughean Rafabi on the role of Women, What need to be done to improve security need to be done to improve security.
