Quranic Recitation Competition Organize By Al-Ansar Tahfizul Qur’an Kicks Off In Jimeta

The Director, Al-ansar Tahfizul Qur’an Jimeta, Yola North local Government area, Mallam Ahmad Abdulmalik Buba said organizing competition for Islamiya children would motivate them to put more effort in their studies.

Mallam Buba stated this in an interview with ABC Yola Reporter before the commencement of a weeklong Quranic recitation competition organized for pupils of the school holding at the school premises in Karewa GRA Jimeta.

He added that such competition will ginger parents to encourage their children to develop interest competition of the Holy Qur’an.

The Director disclosed that the competition which is the maiden edition has one hundred and eighty-two students participating, adding that it will be an annual event.

He called on the Muslims Ummah to inculcate the habit of attending Musabaka so as to widen their knowledge about Islam.

The event will feature eight categories, which commence from Tuesday is expected to be rounded off on Sunday.
