President of NGO describes peace and unity are pre-requisites for development

The president who is also the executive director of a Non-Governmental Organisation, Christian Legacy Ambassador’s Network and Legacy International for Transparency, Mr Maspalma Samuel Stanley says that peace and unity are pre-requisites for development of any Nation.

He was speaking when members of the Non- governmental organization paid a courtesy call on the General manager, Adamawa Broadcasting Cooperation ABC Yola Mr. Alleni Ethan Dah in his office at the Broadcasting House Yola tuesday.

Mr. Stanley stated that the aims of the organization is to  unite the diverse people of Adamawa adding that as part of the initiative an inter-tribal football competition, known as Unity cup is to be held in Yola.

He added that his team was in ABC Yola to seek collaboration with the station for the success of the competition explaining that the event will hold from twenty third January twenty-twenty one to twenty eight with teams and official of various tribes and religions.

Speaking, the General Manager Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation ABC Yola, Mr. Alleni Ethan Dah said he was delighted with the idea of the football competition organized by the organization.

The General Manager, urged the members of the organization to use the initiative properly, saying that it is capable of fostering Unity in the state and prayed for successful hosting of the event.
