Governor Fintiri Bags excellent Award

In commemoration of the twenty-twenty World Peace Day, the Sower’s Ministries International, a religious base organization has presented an excellence award to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

The group says the award is in recognition of Governor Fintiri’ efforts at maintaining peace in Adamawa, describing him as “The Hero of Peace”.

According to the Founder and State Chief Executive of the Group, Reverend Ozumba Emanuel Nicodemus, said the award was presented to the Governor out of a careful selection among northern governors by the organisation.

He commended Governor Umaru Fintiri for his modest achievements in promoting peaceful coexistence among diverse ethnic groups in Adamawa and urged him to maintain the tempo.

The Clergy added that as part of celebrating the World Peace Day, the group will present food and relief materials such as maize, beans, yams and rice among others to three hundred vulnerable persons in order to cushion their hardships.

Receiving the award on behalf of Governor Umaru Fintiri, the Chief of Staff Government House, Yola Professor Maxwell Gidado thanked the group for bestowing the award on the Governor.

He assured them that the Fintiri led administration will continue to build an egalitarian society for the betterment and development of the state that the upcoming generation will be proud of.
