ADHA Member recounts his achievements

The Member Representing Ganye Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly Alhaji Alhassan Hammanjoda has explained that in spite of the prevailing economic uncertainties in the State, he has been able to record some achievements in the areas of infrastructure and human capital development in his constituency.

The Member Representing Ganye Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly Alhaji Alhassan Hammanjoda has explained that in spite of the prevailing economic uncertainties in the State, he has been able to record some achievements in the areas of infrastructure and human capital development in his constituency.

Alhaji Alhassan was speaking to newsmen in Yola recently on his stewardship for the last fourteen months as the member representing Ganye Constituency.

Alhassan who is the Chairman, House Committee on Legislative Complaince and Special Duties presented to reporters slides of various empowerment programmes which he delivered in his fourteen months in office, ranging from construction of box culverts along roads leading to remote communities as well as rehabilitation of boreholes and drilling of some new ones.

Other achievements highlighted by the legislator include provision of herbicide to Farmers and award of ten thousand naira scholarship each to over five hundred students from Ganye in various institution of higher learning across the country.

Alhaji Alhassan announced that he also built some health clinics and rehabilitated some rural roads to ease movement of the people.

The legislator while thanking people of Ganye Constituency for giving him the opportunity to represent them, promised to strive to attract more dividends of democracy to the area.

He said he will continue to support government efforts aimed at guaranteeing peace, security and welfare of the entire all Adamawa people.

Alhaji Alhassan acknowledge the leadership qualities of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Finitiri and the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Alhaji Aminu Iya Abbas and called for unity and understanding among political office holders.
