Nasarawo Jereng Bridge is on the verge of collapse- Residents of Mayo Belwa

People of Mayo Belwa local government area have called on Government to as a matter of urgency repair the Nasarawo Jereng Bridge that link Mayo Belwa and Taraba state.
Across section of residents of the area interviewed by ABC Yola reporter said the bridge is at the verge of collapse.
According to them, the Jereng Bridge was built in nineteen seventy nine and was repaired last year by the Federal Road Maintenance Agency FERMA.
A resident, Mallam Yusuf Mayo Lamja appealed to government to urgently repair the bridge as it poses great danger to motorists.
A Driver, Mallam Rabiu said the nature of the bad road is a cause of concern to people of area.
Another Driver, Mallam Muhammad lamented the hardship being face by motorists and appealed to the authorities concern to rehabilitate the bridge so that the area will not cut-off from Taraba state.
